Terms of Service - HERRD Kids Learning Portal

  1. One Family, One Fee
Access to the Learning Portal is charged at a flat rate per homeschooling family (one household). This includes access to all workshops offered through the Portal during the term.

  2. No Additional Workshop Fees
There are no extra charges to join any of the workshops listed within the Learning Portal once your family has paid the term fee.

  3. Portal Access
Families will be granted access to the Learning Portal once payment is received. Access includes workshop booking details, downloadable resources, and Zoom links where applicable.

  4. Workshop Schedule and Changes
All workshop dates and times are subject to change. We will do our best to notify families of any changes as early as possible.

  5. Third-Party Events
Some workshops and learning opportunities listed in the Portal are not hosted by Homeschool Hotline. These third-party sessions are free and open to the public and are shared to assist families in discovering a wider range of learning options.
Homeschool Hotline is not affiliated with, responsible for, or involved in the organisation, content, or delivery of these external sessions.

  6. Zoom Requirements
Live online workshops are hosted via Zoom. Parents/carers are responsible for setting up a free Zoom account and ensuring children have access to a suitable device with internet, webcam, and audio capabilities.

  7. Parental Supervision
Children attending Zoom sessions should do so in a shared or supervised space. A parent/carer must be within earshot of any online sessions. Close adult supervision is required for our cooking demonstrations.

  8. Behaviour Expectations
Tutors will share behaviour expectations with students at the beginning of workshops. Homeschool Hotline reserves the right to remove a student from a session or the Portal if behaviour is repeatedly disruptive or not in line with the learning environment.

  9. Workshop Cancellations
If a workshop hosted by Homeschool Hotline cannot proceed due to tutor illness, low enrolments, or technical issues, we may offer a rescheduled time or alternative activity. No refunds will be issued for individual workshop cancellations due to the one-fee access model.

  10. Privacy and Safety
Parents must ensure their child’s video background is appropriate and that no private or offensive content is visible during Zoom sessions. Zoom links are not to be shared outside your household.

  11. Changes to Terms
Homeschool Hotline reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Notice of changes will be provided via the Portal or email.
